About the Lebanese Framework for Independents

An independent national grouping working to build a sound civil state away from political clientelism

Lebanese Framework for Independents

The Lebanese Framework for Independents is an independent national grouping of Lebanese personalities and competencies from various regions and sectors, working outside the scope of traditional parties and political clientelism.

The Framework rests on the firm conviction that Lebanese people possess enough competencies and energy to build a modern, just civil state, and that emerging from the comprehensive national crisis requires independent national forces capable of action outside the traditional system.

The Framework is not a political party in the classical sense, nor a protest movement, but a unifying framework for figures and competencies who believe that organized, responsible national work is the only way to restore and rebuild the state.

Why was the Framework founded?

1

The absence of genuine representation for independents in Lebanese political life

2

The need for an organized national force operating away from clientelism

3

The necessity of gathering independent competencies within a unifying and active framework

4

Working on an integrated reform project not monopolized by any one camp

5

Presenting an alternative national model built on responsibility and competence

What does independence mean in the Framework's vision?

Independence is not neutrality

Independence in the Framework's vision does not mean passivity or withdrawal from public affairs, but an active and responsible choice stemming from an inclusive national reference.

Independence from traditional parties

The Framework works outside traditional parties and axes logic, rejecting affiliation to any partisan, sectarian, or foreign reference.

Independence and Lebanon's interest

The Framework's only reference is the interest of Lebanon as a homeland and state, and the interest of the Lebanese citizen, away from narrow calculations.

Independence and diversity

The Framework brings together figures from various regions, sects, and sectors, seeing this diversity as a national asset rather than an obstacle to joint work.
